I’m Taurus Posey, a devoted husband of 16 years to my wonderful wife, Franchesca Posey, and a proud father of three amazing girls: Madalynn, Melanie, and Meredith.

With a rich background in IT and a comprehensive array of certifications across various domains, I bring a wealth of expertise to the table. I hold Microsoft certifications including MCSA Server 2016, Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals, and Microsoft 365 Certified Fundamentals, along with Cisco Certified Network Associate and CompTIA certifications such as A+ CE, Linux+ CE, Security+ CE, and Systems Support Specialist – CSSS. Additionally, I hold certifications in AWS, ITIL4 Foundations, and LPI Linux Essentials. Which enables me to deliver innovative solutions tailored to meet the unique needs of each project.

Education has been instrumental in shaping my career journey. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Information Technology from Western Governors University in Salt Lake City, UT, in January 2022, following an Associate of Science in Computer Information Systems from Bossier Parish Community College in Bossier City, LA, in December 2010.

Beyond the realm of IT, I’m an avid baseball fan who relishes spending quality time with my family and friends. As a true “techie” at heart, I’m continuously exploring the latest advancements in technology and embracing opportunities to expand my knowledge and skill set.

In addition to my academic achievements and professional pursuits, I’m deeply committed to community involvement and fraternity engagement. I’m a proud member of the Alpha Chi Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity Inc. at Wiley College and the Shreveport Alumni Chapter in Shreveport, Louisiana. Embracing the values of achievement, brotherhood, and service, I contribute actively to both my fraternity and community.

My dedication extends to supporting nonprofits through technology. I’ve had the privilege of designing websites for notable organizations such as KEW Learning Academy, Kappa Alpha Psi Shreveport Alumni Chapter, and the National Pan-Hellenic Council Shreveport Council, aligning my technical skills with my passion for community impact.

Professionally, I leverage my expertise to tackle technical challenges, implement cutting-edge solutions, and optimize IT infrastructure for maximum efficiency and performance. Outside of work, I’m deeply involved in the nonprofit sector, leveraging my IT skills to support causes that matter most to me and make a positive difference in the lives of others.

Whether through my professional endeavors, nonprofit work, or fraternity involvement, I’m committed to leaving a lasting impact and fostering positive change. When not occupied with work or community initiatives, I cherish moments spent with my family, exploring new hobbies, and relishing life’s simple pleasures.

In conclusion, I am an active member of the Russell Road Church of Christ, under the leadership of Minister John H. Dansby and Vincent Gorden.
